Uki 2 Class 1 - Introduction

Today is my first day in Uki coding school. Glad to be one of the member of Uki family.
Class was started by the director of institute Mr.Vithushan.
He introduced about himself and then he explained the rules and regulations to be followed in the institute premises.

After that every students introduced themselves then told what they expect from Uki and what nick name should they have be called by the others.
Then a game for memorizing the name of batch mates was conducted. Thenceforward the photographs of students for an ID was taken and laptops are issued under certain conditions.

At 12 o' clock the lunch break.

Afterward touch typing method( which is typing fluently without watching the keyboard) was educated by Uki batch 1 students with a software knows Klavaro.
Klavora is one of the free software offered to learn and type the keyboard with tutorials. It offers more exercise( more than 60+) to practice ourselves without a teacher. I enjoyed it a lot.

At 3 o' clock a blog to publish the day today activities at Uki was created. Following that set upping Google Classroom was done.

Google Classroom is one of the site offered by Google to create day by day modules which is going to be teach in future days...I already had an experience with Google Classroom when I was followed a Coding course in American Corner,Jaffna.

Creating Slack Account: Slack is one of the best website to chat and share code with colleagues at anywhere anytime. Its very helpful to share our source code and ask help to our friends.

Creating Torello Account: Torello is a website which can be do assignments and submit those online. This will be very more interesting at Uki in future days...

So, the first day was finished with a evening rain at Jaffna....
